We Won!!!!!!!!!

I just want to let everyine know that we finally won a vollyball game. It took forever to win one but we did. We played Arlington and we won the first 2 games then lost the 3 then won the 4 it was awsome. Anyhow the guys lost their game I think the score was 7 to 1 or something like that but they were short a few players. not like that is a good excuse but thats ok. Hey mabey next time they will win.

Navy Game

We went to the Navy Game today it was so much fun. Navy lost though. They went into over time and then the final score was 23 to 24 it was very sad but it was a lot of fun. I got a Navy hat. It says NAVY on it. I never realised how into those games you can get. I think I would go to another one if the chance ever came. Next week me and Becca are going to go give blood. I like giving blod and I am a universal doner how awsome is that.

Retriet

Well GREEN TEAM RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats right we won it was a lot of fun and everything went well there were nasty games like eating chochlate frosting from a diper and blowing a raw egg threw a tube at another person who is blowing against you. It was really fun. We had a bunch of games but I did not get pictures of anything. I know I am a bum but I have to be in the mood to take pictures which I wasnt in and so I did not take pictures. I can put the ones from the first night that I took there are only about 4 or 5 but thats not bad. It was alote of fun though and I really enjoyed it. If you have never heard Pastor Ramose preach he is awsome and I really enjoy his preaching. (He is preaching on sunday by the way.)

Phone

I got a new phone for my birthday. It is a silver razor. It is really awsome but my number changed and as of yet I have not learned it. I do know some of it though. School was awsome today ( I am still in it in the comp lab) I came down this morning and Miss Greagory and Miss Becca sang happy birthday to me then gave me donuts and a cupcake then I went to work and after work Sawyer sang happy birthday to me and on my day went. Then I went out to lunch with my parents. It was really great. Sadley we lost our game yesterday and so we have a bad practice today but thats ok. THen later I think I am going to go to Uno's for dinner. I love their dessert. So that was my day. Yup Yup

Vollyball

Ok so not only did we loose our first game against Rosedall we also lost our second game against Indipendent and we are playing independent again on Monday. It was awfull we really stink but I think that part of our problem is that we are still intimidated be their old team and are just not willing that to admit that we can do better then them and beat them if we really try. So yeah that is how our team is doing but also we are going to retreat on Wednesday so I am kinda excited about that I don't have to work yeah I can sleep in yeah yeah yeah I am happy plus my birthday is on tuesday and Brother Ramos is going to be here to preach for retreat Yup Yup I am excited.

My dads home

Well my dad came home today while I was in vollyball practice. Although he did not bring me a Mexican coke he did bring home made flower tortias those are very good. He also brought me and Tim chocolat mine was coffie flavored and tasted kind of funny but it was good non the less. I did not get to try Tims. Zach got this bag of gumballs that fiz in your mouth before they turn to gum they were wierd and I didn't like them very much. My dad brought home pictures and the area seems very nice. It looked hot though. But everything is getting back to normal tonight was the first night that it really was wierd and noticible that Liz was not here and wont be here for a while. I'm not trying to be mean its just that with my dad back it seams different. We'll get used to it though.

The Bus

Everyone needs to ride the bus at least once or twice. We have so much fun. For instance when we need a game to play and have a game but don't know how to play it we just make up the rules as we go or when we are driving home and Becca freakes out when she see's a spider and has a death grip on my skirt it is a blast. The kids have no idea you don't know how the game really goes and no one ever hears Becca sceam that loud. Really come join us some time we will find somwthing for you to do (usually help with the singing) and you will see how much fun it is all while you are serving the Lord and influensing childrens lives. Yup Yup

These are from when we Nyss and Dee were making vissuals for the church in Beeville. You can tell we did work but we had a lot of lounging time too. It was a lot of fun. However mailing them was a big pain the post office is a very difficult place sometimes. But when are they not =)

A Funny Story

Ok so we were in History the other day and Mr. Davies said that George Washington was the Brad Pitt of the day. And then today we were talking and Anysia said she had no idea how girls in that time likes guys in that time (she was looking at benjamin Franklin this time) then we started talking about how guys looked during the Bible times. Nyss said they probably looked nasty and gross but Relish said that she thought he looked like Brad Pitt and then someone said Justin Timberlake and someone else said the rock so you can tell our histery class is interesting but that is not the funny storry. It happens latter. History is 2 period chapple is like 5b or something like that. So we go into chapple and as P Lacombe is preaching he mentions Samson and how he was good looking and all this stuff. Well our 11 and 12 grade class was dying with laughter and no one understood why least of all P Lacombe. He was up there and he says "what? I'm guessing this is an inside joke I don't want to know" we were all laughing I felt so bad afterword I was going to tell him but I didn't get a chance. Mabey I'll tell him tomorrow. Anyhow that was what happened that was funny today.

A Prayer Request

I have a prayer request I would like all of you to pray for. I think some of you have met Simon Harris. His dad (Steven Harris) is one of our missionaries to Mexico who Liz is going to live with. Well the Harrises were in the states and they got Simons eye looked at and he has to have a corneal transplant. I looked up some information on it and apperently it is the middle of the eye and can help with vission and all that but it sounds kinda scary so please keep him and the whole family in prayer. This is the family who the daughter had cancer in her face about a year ago. So just remember them. There is a posibility Liz will not start classes on time seeing as how Pastor Harris is supoce to do most of the teaching and will not be headed back to Mexico they are saying for about 2 weeks.

The First Vollyball Game

Well as some of you know and some of you do not we lost our first vollyball game. We put up a good fight but ut was not good enough. But our teem is playing together very well. And we were getting so close to winning. The boys lost there soccer game too. There score was 6 to 2 the other team. So we all lost but thats ok. We have more games and we will do better in the future.

Death

I just about died. That may sound wierd but if you had been there you would understand. So this is what happened. I was going with my sister to the library to drop a book of just before she left. We are pulling out of the school (at 3:00 I might mention when there is extremly heavy trafic) and Liz (who is driving) pulls onto the road and AAAAAHHHHHHHh here comes a car. I am yelling LIZ Liz is yelling WHAT DO I DO and she stops in the middle of the road not completely but almost and then then the other guy ( I look into his car and see his face) he is freaking out too. So finaly Liz keeps going and then everything goes smoothly the rest of the trip. But yeah I was a little freaked out for a while. But everything is fine and we are safely home and about to take her to the airport. Fun Fun Fun

This is all the teen girls singing in Mexico. I dont think they understood us but they seemed to enjoy hearing us.

This is a road that just kept going I thought it looked cool we were in Mexico but yes the road is what we saw a lot of for a long time.

This is all of us in Texas. We had done a little thing were the guys all preached and the girls all gave a testamony and we all sang it was a lot of fun.

This is Pastor Starr and Pastor Jett and 5 something in the morning before we left Maryland. It was very early but it was fun.

This is me Niss and Dee in Mexico you can't really tell but that brown paper behind us has the makings of a mountain and river and vally scene on it. We drew the whole thing then went and made it all colerful it looked very nice when we were done.
