The Bible

Have you ever been strugling thinking about something and praying about something and just not seeing an answer to it. I was like that last night and so I read my Bible (I do read my Bible but this was not my normal devotions it was just to read because I needed answers) right before I started reading I asked God to show me what to do and guess what the first verse I read answered the question for me and as I continued to read I got more and more answers. I was so happy. I did not want to stop reading. For any of you who are having a problem with something reading the Bible really does help. You would be suprised verses you have read a hundred times before will stand out to you with a totally new meaning.

Hoodie

I got my Cowboys hoodie yesterday. It is blue and has a gray hood and it says Cowboys on the front with a helmet underneath of it. I like it. Thanks Tim =)

Bus

We had a low day on the bus today. We had about 41 people altogether. But we had to think it was a holiday weekend and people were still out of town. I think that next week we will have a better week. I was excited though because Kyler's mom came again. THis is the second week in a row that she has driven herself in. I think that is exciting. But please pray for her that she will get saved. That is what I really want to see. Her and her mom both to get saved and join the church.

Home

Empoward youth was a blast. I had so much fun.

We got there late monday night after they had already started everything and first thing I saw his girl that I knew when I was really young and talked to her for a bit while we were going threw the rooms that they set up. THen we had to sleep on the floor because they sis not have enough beds.
Tuesday we went to split sessions and heard good preching in the morning service. Then we went to the aquarium. I want to go to the aquarium here now. Liz we saw an outer it was out playing I thought of you when I saw it. Then we went to the Navy pier. That was boring but I think it was cause everything was clossed down. Then we went back to church (we had tons of free time all week) and had dinner and evening service. Then that night the guys went swimming while the girls played big ball vollyball I did not play however.
Wednessday we did split sessions and morning services again but then in the afternoon we went bowling. Tim and Josh missed the bus. And since the boys went to a different place then the girls they could not ride with us so they had to go to the front office. The principle was pretending to be mad at them and he yelled and them Josh almost peed his pants he was so scared then he was like are you scared and they were like yes and he goes good then he told them he was just joking with them and he drove them to the bowling allly. Then we went back to church and had services after that the girls went swimming as the boys played something in the gym.
Thursday we again had split sessions and morning services then in the afternoon the girls played vollyball and the guys went paintballing. Non of our guys played they all thought it was to cold. I was going to play vollyball I was put on a team and I changed to go play then as I was sitting there I asked them if they still needed me and they were like no we got someone else I was like oh ok but I thought it was kinda mean. Then we had evening services and then we had the allnighter thing that was fun. I was one of the only people in our group to stay up till 2:00 I was with Sarah and Lyndsay watch Nate from beeville play basketball. During that time Tim from beeville told me he'd send me a cowboys hoodie and I told him I would send him a song notebook for his bus.
Friday we had breakfast but then everyone else went home. SO we were up at 7:00 and had nothing to do untill almost 12:00 we were calling people and were very bored so I called P starr and he said he was almost there and we ended up going to the gym at about 11:00 then we had white castles for lunch and we went to chicago at about 3:15 that was fun we saw stuff and we walked around it was neat. Then we came home Saturday.

We learned a new song called I want that mountain and we are going to sing it for church and then also we are goiong to teach it to the bus kids.
I saw a bunch of people I knew which was neat people I hadn't seen in 5 years or so I saw again. I never realized how much people can change. They were different. But I'm sure I am different too.

There were a bunch of good messages preached. Pastor Ramos preached one on how you will do what you want to do and how people can tell you all the time what to do and how people can preach all the time on what to listen too or how to dress but you will do what you want to do and he preached on how you should want to do what the Lord wants you to do not what you want to do. Then another guy preached on how you are given tests and trials because it is a test and how you should stand closser to him threw them not pull away because he has found you worthy of a test and also because God will never give you a test that you can't pass.

Empoward Youth

I don't have to go to school at all next week!!!!!! Why cause I am going to Indeana to visit Fairhaven and go to the empoward Youth. We are leaving on Monday morning at 6:30 and arnt getting back untill about 8:00 Saturday night. I am so excited. I have to pack but I probably wont do that till last minute. They sent out an email that said that things will be different from last year. They said that the same youth groups wont be rooming together but that each night after the services they will have rooms for the youth groups to meet in. Pluss the college student who stays in our room will be doing morning and evening devotions with us which means we wont be able to skip breakfast and sleep in if we wanted to. We are also going swiming this year. The school built a gym that has a pool and we get to go swiming in it. I think that is cool. I dont think we are going to the YMCA center like we did last year because they have their new gym building thing. And instead of visiting a museum we are doing a bigger and better. There is other stuff too I just dont remember it all. I will tell you what happened when we get back.

Lacombe's

The Lacombe family is gone. THey are flying out to Thailand on Monday. We had the going away service last night. I was doing very good and was not crying and then after service I went up and was talking to them and I started to cry. I got Pastor Lacombe crying as well. It was sad but then at the same time I had to think that they are doing what God wants them to do and I will see them again. I want to go out next summer to see them. They left this morning and again I wanted to cry but I didn't I was good and held it in. I will miss them but I will see them again someday. Mabey not in this world but I will see them again in Heaven for sure.

Company

We had tons of people at our house this weekend. I ended up staying at Miss Gregories with 2 of the Harris girls. It went well though. Everyone left today however the Harrises were planing on going up to Empowered youth and they left Abigale with us for the week and we are going to take her up with us when we go. She was funny though because she did not want to wear the school uniform and was kinda making fun of it and then she found out that she could stay and that she has to wear it for school. She was not exactly thrilled with the idea. So yeah I do have my room (I did not mind it being used but my bed is better then any other bed there is) and I am going to pack and get ready for Indeanna. Can you believe that is next week??? NO SCHOOL FOR A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!
